Tasking Chores

In the past I have hated laundry. But I realize I never hated laundry… I hated feeling like I was a servant. It was a mind set.

If you feel like you hate a task, redirect the thought process and try to determine if it’s the actual task, or is it the location of the task? Or the circumstances of that task? I find that if I ask for help with a task, or play music and dance through said task, or have a friend on the phone- the ‘hated task’ becomes not so bad… maybe even enjoyable. Today it was music. And the lack of feeling like a servant. I chose to do this task- I didn’t feel like I HAD to.

Take on that task today that you hate doing, with a spin. Try a different way of doing it. Hopefully you’ll see things a different way!
